Terroir & Vinification
One of the most prestigious crus of Jurançon, nestled in a sunny valley sheltered from the winds.
Hand-harvested after passerillage—the natural concentration of sugars and aromas on the vine—these grapes give rise to an exceptional wine.
Controlled fermentation, followed by 18 months of ageing on lees, imparts power, structure, and beautiful aromatic complexity.
Each wine has its own story...
This traditional Béarnaise estate was once an imperial stud farm until 1808, when Napoleon, during his visit to Béarn, decided to relocate it to the nearby village of Gelos.
Offering a quintessential panorama with its 6 hectares of Gros and Petit Manseng planted along the slope or in terraces, its vines are among the oldest in the vineyard area.
