Tasting
- An intense, bright straw-yellow colour.
- Highly expressive, with an elegant complexity: pineapple, mango, and orange unfold one after another.
- A lovely attack with aromas of candied fruit. Beautiful concentration, balanced by a slightly lemony finish.
Already well-balanced in its current state, it nonetheless has real ageing potential.
Terroir & Winemaking
In the heart of the Jurançon hillsides, this vineyard is planted on terraces facing the Pic du Midi d’Ossau. Typical soil: Jurançon ‘poudingue’.
Hand-harvested in successive selections, with the last two pickings dedicated to crafting this sweet Jurançon.
Vinified in the traditional manner and aged for 10 months in stainless-steel tanks.
