The Interreg POCTEFA project EST
“The Interreg POCTEFA project EST – Space for Sustainable Wine Tourism and Cross-Border Culture” has been launched. The project partners met in Jaca on April 12 to plan the implementation of the various actions that will be carried out over the course of the project.
The main challenge of the project is to highlight the existing affinities between the regions of the POCTEFA area in terms of sustainable tourism, through a shared cultural heritage: wine. It also aims to support local businesses, particularly small enterprises, and to bring new technological ideas to tourism and culture.
This three-year project will focus on the creation of four wine museums in Spain and France: in Cariñena, Navarra, Lacommande, and Gan. The project partners will work together to develop interactive visitor experiences, including digital guides, augmented reality, QR codes, and videos from the museums created in the other regions.» -These initiatives aim to support sustainable tourism, foster digital innovation and local economies through the cross-border network, and celebrate the cultural history of wine in the regions covered by the project.” – www.poctefa.eu/fr/blog/
